Menstrual Health & Menopause Champion Training™

It’s brilliant that we’re finally talking about menopause at work. It matters.

But so do PMDD, endometriosis and the menstrual health challenges women may be navigating for decades beforehand.

What about the colleague in her 20s or 30s who is going through hell every month, silently and without support?

She deserves to be part of the conversation too.

This training gives you the knowledge and confidence to make sure she is.

Silence can look a lot like “everything’s fine.”

69%

Negative impact at work

Almost seven in ten women who experience menstrual symptoms say they have negatively affected them at work.

49%

Stay silent

Almost half of those taking menstrual-related absence never tell their manager the real reason.

8%

Have left or may leave

3% of women had already left a job because they lacked support for their menstrual symptoms, while a further 5% were considering leaving.

Source: Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Menstruation and Support at Work (2023). Based on a survey of more than 2,000 UK women aged 18–60 who had experienced menstruation while in employment.

Half a day. A much bigger picture.

A focused, live online session designed to take you from caring about women’s health at work to knowing how to support it.

  • Understand what women experience

Join the dots between the menstrual cycle, common health conditions, perimenopause and menopause, and how they can affect working life.

  • Feel ready for real conversations

Know how to listen, what to say and where to signpost, without feeling responsible for fixing everything.

  • Make your champion role count

Understand your boundaries, make support easier to find and help women feel far less alone at work.

  • Meet your people

Learn alongside a small group of like-minded champions, share ideas and build connections with others who care about improving women’s health at work just as much as you do.

What you’ll learn

Meet your facilitator

Hi, I’m Clare Knox

I’m a Business Psychologist, women’s health educator and the founder of See Her Thrive. I’ve helped more than 200 organisations build a better understanding of women’s health at work, including Deloitte, Barclays, the Financial Times, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Pinterest.

This work is deeply personal to me. My own experience of PMDD led me to create See Her Thrive and has shaped my determination to make women’s health easier to understand, talk about and support.

I’ve served as a Board Director for the International Association for Premenstrual Disorders (IAPMD), contributed to the Government’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on Women’s Health at Work and published academic research on PMDD. I’ve also contributed to the CIPD’s professional guidance on menopause and menstrual health.

When you train with me, you won’t spend half a day being lectured or trying to untangle medical jargon. I make complex subjects clear, relevant and easy to talk about. Expect a warm, open and uplifting experience filled with real examples, thoughtful conversation and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

I want you to leave feeling informed, confident and excited about what you can do next.

I can’t wait to meet you.
